Wiz Sorce
A downloadable game
Wiz Sorce is a fast and fun magic system designed to create maximum chaos for the Magic Manager (this game's GM) to improvise around. As a semi-cooperative game, Friend and Rival wizards will have to team up to solve puzzles, but there can only be one winner. Across the span of two hours and a pair of escape rooms, the Magic Manager will arbitrarily dole out points for anything that pleases them until one Wiz is deemed worthy to rent by an interested adventuring party seeking a temporary wizard companion.
Wiz Sorce is a heavily improvised, mad-cap, ad-libbed, one-shot adventure for 2-5 players (MM included) that requires only 5 minutes of prep. As a competing Wizard, once you've read the single page of rules, all you'll need to play the game is your character sheet and dice!
Excellent as a light-weight, silly diversion or as an intro to role-playing games for its player Wizards. Anyone can play (kid siblings and parents included)!
25 pages total: 1 Rules page; 5 Character Sheets; 5 Blank DIY Character Sheets; 5 Magic Manager How-to-Play; 2 Magic Manager Character Sheets; 1 Wiz Sorce Wiz Score Sheet; 1 Blank DIY MM Sheet; 5 Miscellaneous
Dice required: 2d6 and 2d4 (or an online generator)
Misc recommended: Tokens for taking +2 and Advantage; a winning sense of humor

I was attracted to this game because of its low price, its presentation for once quite complete (a rare feat on itch.io) and its principle which seemed close to one of my games.
In it, you play a team of apprentice magicians and related trying to cross a series of escape rooms semi-improvised by the GM; the whole principle is based on gap-filling texts and word banks, with a system that is quite tightly packed (I had to reread the text several times to have a beginning of understanding of how it works) but that seems to me quite efficient!
